If you haven't seen the first film all you would be missing is a man who can hold an Infinity stone without blowing up, a group of unlikeliest characters getting together and forming the Guardians.
This time you see the adorable Baby Groot dancing to Mr Blue Sky - E.L.O. and you see some absolutely mind blowing CGI which make it seem so realistic and colour it just looks like you are tripping of some really Groovy psychedelic. The new Marvel formula for a brilliant film is clearly evident here, a wrong was done, the joining together of probably unlikely characters, a kidnapping of a character leads therefore to an epic battle scene with yet again an incredibly empowering soundtrack including 'The chain'- Fleetwood Mac, 'Fox on the run'- Sweet and 'My sweet lord'- George Harrison.
Chris Pratt looks hotter in this film, Gamora's hair still makes me more jealous than Mary Kate of Ashley, Drax still has his annoying attitude to which allows him to take most things literally or to find the most peculiar things hilarious and Rocket still is Baby groot's translator yet still like to walk the line of Ethics.
I rate this brilliant film a 8/10.
